Borderlines Carlisle

Change is happening and the youth are leading it. In this eye-opening discussion, I and a panel of inspirational women from Cumbria will delve into the causes that deserve attention and offer tips on how young people can be the change they want to see in the world.


YALC 2019

Chaired a panel examining the rise in young adult non-fiction books alongside writers and activists Laura Coryton, Lex Croucher, Niellah Arboine and Sara Jafari. Also hosted a workshop on activism strategies that anyone can use to make the change they want to see in the world.

This panel, entitled Industry Insights: Creative Women Taking A Stand, discussed female experiences and gender equality in the creative industries. Other speakers included Chidera Eggerue (aka The Slumflower), author Jenny Quintana and rare book dealer A. N. Devers.
